Welcome!

I am a PhD candidate in the Department of International Affairs within the School of Public and International Affairs (SPIA) at the University of Georgia. I expect to complete my degree in the spring of 2020.

My research focuses on human rights generally and women's rights and international law more specifically. I am particularly interested in the measurement of various aspects of human rights.

In the classroom, I am most passionate about making content accessible and engaging for my students. This has led to my involvement in a simulations-based redesign of the way we teach human rights. More detailed information on my research and teaching can be found at the links above.

When I’m not working, I enjoy traveling, baking, and turning snarky sayings into cross-stitch projects.
